Hands-On Leadership
The Broad School's mission is to create leading-edge, usable knowledge to develop the competencies of the strategic change leader for the global, multicultural marketplace.

Our Promise
We at The Broad School promise to provide a world class graduate business education in a diverse, competitive and team-intensive environment. We promise to provide career skills and strategies to assist all Broad MBAs in finding a challenging and rewarding post-graduate career suited to each student 's goals and values. We promise to provide a scholarly, yet people-oriented, environment that gives each MBA student the opportunity to develop leadership skills and a strong lifelong social network. We promise to provide an atmosphere conducive to, and accepting of, strong “ownership” by the MBA students. We encourage the other relevant stakeholders in the program including faculty, administrators, recruiters and alumni to share this ownership attitude.

Our Expectations
We expect our students to be future leaders and to begin practicing these leadership skills while in the MBA Program. We expect each MBA student to welcome diversity and to nurture it, making at least one lifelong friend from another background. We expect all students to live by the highest code of ethics and honor. We expect all students to champion their own post-graduate career search and to continually be active throughout the program to find and accept the job of their dreams. We expect students to act as owners of the MBA Program and to help Michigan State University and The Broad School to continue building a program of stature and prowess. We expect this ownership to be manifested in a positive, constructive attitude towards all members of the program, at all times. We expect you, our future alumni, to be remarkably successful after graduation. We expect you to maintain a strong connection with The Broad MBA Program and MSU post-graduation, as permanent supporters and champions of the program in whatever walk of life you pursue.
